As an Energy Optimization Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of revolutionizing energy trading through innovative software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including market data, financial statements, and economic indicators.
- Build and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and risk assessment in algorithmic trading.
- Collaborate with traders and quantitative analysts to understand trading strategies and develop data-driven solutions to optimize trading performance.
- Design and implement data pipelines and infrastructure for collecting, storing, and processing data for algorithmic trading.
- Stay informed about developments in data science, machine learning, and trading technology, and incorporate new techniques and tools into our trading platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with financial markets, trading instruments, and trading strategies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
